A Better Resolution

Many people make New Year's resolutions vowing to cut back on the sweets, go to the gym, get healthy! By this time, the resolutions are slipping and in another month, will be forgotten entirely. I propose a renewed resolution. Give into the sweet tooth now and again, with no guilt or remorse. Feel good about treating yourself and do so with the most divine sweets (may I suggest the chocolate oreos). We could always be thinner, healthier, wealthier, etc. so let's just shoot for something more attainable: happier.

Better Than Fruitcake

Rather than spending stressful days wandering in packed malls trying to find that perfect gift, let your mouse do the walking and order the sweetest gift of all (Heavenly Sweets of course)! Our Chocolate Pretzel Rods or heavenly Chocolate Oreos will show your loved ones you're thinking of them this holiday season. We didn't think so.

Caramel in a Can?

I've grown accustomed to the time necessary to make each of my chocolates. Sometimes a labor of love, sometimes just labor ;-), I don't really think about how long it takes, but I can't imagine doing it any other way. Thus, when I learned that another candymaker dips her caramel apples in a canned liquid caramel, I almost screamed in horror.

I buy blocks of the finest caramel and slowly melt it until it is just the right consistency for dipping. Then after dipping or creating my turtles, I have to let them cool down so that the chocolate coats it uniformly. Now, I suppose if I used canned caramel or other shortcuts, I would have more spare time, but I might have to change my name to "Almost Heavenly Sweets"

Caramel and Snickers Apple

Looking for a unique dessert for your family or small dinner party? Try one of the Caramel and Snickers Apples. I take a large, fresh, Fuji apple, dip it in rich caramel, cover it in crumbled Snickers bars, then cover the whole thing with milk chocolate. The final step is drizzling it in white chocolate. It is so big, you can cut it up into quarters and treat the entire family.

Chocolate and Caramel Pretzel Rods

My pretzel rods are one of my best selling items. If you're a caramel fan, then these might very well become your favorite. I take pretzel rods and first dip them in creamy carmel, then dip them in rich milk chocolate. If that weren't decadent enough, I then drizzle them in white chocolate. Order some today
